Soy Cezve is a handcrafted Turkish coffee pot made from high-quality copper with an inner tin lining. It is specially designed for preparing authentic Turkish coffee, known for its rich aroma and unique brewing method. Each cezve is carefully crafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques, ensuring excellent heat conductivity and long-lasting durability.
The cezve has a wide base for even heat distribution, a narrow neck to preserve the foam, and a precisely designed spout for smooth pouring. The wooden handle provides a comfortable grip and protects from burns.
How to Use Soy Cezve
Measure the ingredients – Add finely ground Turkish coffee, cold water, and sugar (optional) to the cezve. The standard ratio is one heaping teaspoon of coffee for 100 ml of water.
Stir gently – Mix the ingredients before placing the cezve on the stove. Once the coffee starts heating, do not stir anymore.
Heat slowly – Place the cezve over low heat and allow the coffee to heat slowly. The foam will begin to rise, but it should not boil over.
Remove before boiling – Just before it reaches boiling, remove the cezve from the heat and pour a small amount of foam into each cup.
Return to heat – Place the cezve back on the heat and let the foam rise again before pouring the remaining coffee into the cups.
Serve and enjoy – Traditionally, Turkish coffee is served with a glass of water and a piece of Turkish delight.
Safety Precautions When Using Soy Cezve
Do not heat too quickly – Excessive heat can burn the coffee and damage the tin lining of the cezve.
Do not use metal utensils – Use wooden or plastic spoons to avoid scratching the inner lining.
Hand wash – Rinse with warm water and mild detergent and avoid placing it in the dishwasher.
Dry thoroughly – Prevent oxidation by drying the cezve thoroughly after washing.
