The Siphon Technica consists of two heat-resistant glass chambers connected by a siphon tube. Water is placed in the lower chamber, while freshly ground coffee goes into the upper one. Once the burner is lit, the water heats up and steam pressure pushes it into the upper chamber to mix with the coffee. After a few minutes of steeping, the heat source is removed, and thanks to vacuum pressure, the brewed coffee flows back into the lower chamber, leaving only the grounds behind.

The set includes the glass brewer, a cloth filter with a metal holder, and a spirit burner (alcohol burner). For greater convenience, a gas burner can also be purchased, offering more precise heat control.
